Hamilton Health Center PEDA Application
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
Vernon Land Use prepared a successful Pennsylvania Energy Development Authority (PEDA) grant application for Hamilton Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center. The funding was used to offset the cost of installing a closed-loop geothermal system as part of the expansion and relocation of Hamilton Health Center in Harrisburg. The new facility, serving the health care needs of the underserved and underinsured in South Central Pennsylvania, is located on a former Brownfield site and is a Brownfield Action Team project designated by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection in October 2005.
